Dylan Hershkowitz, MD

Dr. Dylan Hershkowitz graduated from medical school at the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine. He continued his training in Psychiatry at Brown University in Providence, RI, where he served as chief resident in his fourth year. After residency, he completed a fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry at Brown University. Before coming to SCP, he worked in several roles in the Brown and University of Vermont health systems, including inpatient consultation-liaison psychiatry, inpatient psychiatry, outpatient psychiatry, and subspecialty psychiatry in neurology and pain. Through his work in academic settings, he received multiple teaching awards for service with medical students and residents. His areas of interest include mood and anxiety disorders, trauma related disorders, psychosis, neurodevelopmental disorders (including ADHD), behavioral aspects of neurocognitive disorders, and the overlap between psychiatric illness and other medical and neurological conditions. He is board certified in Adult Psychiatry and Consultation Liaison Psychiatry. He is a member of the AOA and GHHS honor societies as well as the APA, ACLP, ANPA, and AGLP medical societies.
