Megan Smith
Social Worker

Megan Smith is a licensed independent clinical social worker who graduated from Simmons College School of Social Work and completed internships at the Lemuel Shattuck Hospital and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She has worked in a variety of settings across all levels of care, including inpatient, residential, intensive outpatient, community support teams, and private practice.
Megan is formally trained in Exposure and Response Prevention and utilizes a number of other empirically based interventions (e.g., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) to address concerns in a multi-faceted approach to therapy. Prior to joining the SCP team, Megan was the Program Manager of the Butler Hospital OCD & Anxiety IOP. Megan enjoys working with adults of all ages with a specific focus on treating OCD, specific phobias, and panic disorder.
When she is not working, Megan enjoys watching sports, kayaking, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
