Sydney Kriegsman, MD

Dr. Kriegsman is a psychiatrist dedicated to providing thoughtful and individualized care. A native of New York City, she earned her Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology from Hamilton College before completing her medical degree through Boston University at Boston Medical Center. She completed her psychiatry residency training at Brown University in Rhode Island. During her residency, Dr. Kriegsman pursued a specialized training track focused on anxiety disorders through the Butler Hospital OCD and Anxiety Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program. Dr. Kriegsman is passionate about working collaboratively with patients to understand their unique symptoms. She believes in a holistic approach to psychiatric care, aiming to help individuals not only alleviate symptoms, but also better live with the challenges of mental illness. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, Rhode Island Psychiatric Society, Rhode Island Medical Society, and the American Medical Association. Outside of her practice, Dr. Kriegsman enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exploring new restaurants, listening to music, and discovering nature trails throughout New England.
