Dr. Parent received his Ph.D. in Clinical and Developmental Psychology at the University of Vermont and completed his clinical psychology internship at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Dr. Parent is a licensed child clinical psychologist with over a decade of experience helping children and families navigate emotional and behavioral challenges. He specializes in evidence-based, family-centered care for disruptive behavior, ADHD, anxiety, mood struggles, child sleep difficulties, and tics.

Dr. Parent believes that lasting change happens within the family system. His approach goes beyond individual treatment to actively involve parents and caregivers, equipping them with practical, research-backed strategies to support their child’s growth. With a compassionate, strengths-based approach, Dr. Parent tailors each intervention to fit the unique needs of the child and family, ensuring they feel supported every step of the way. Dr. Parent also conducts comprehensive psychological, developmental, and neuropsychological assessments for children with various needs, including testing for school accommodations, diagnostic purposes, or those who would like detailed developmental information to inform treatment recommendations.
